Our section break pages serve a few purposes—to introduce the next section, offer a mental break to the users, give users acknowledgement of progress, and encouragement to move forward. We know based on previous tests that users need these section break pages, which is why we want to create a more engaging experience on these pages.

Problem
Users typically abandon the experience on section break pages
Lack of strong visual differentiation from a similar product

Additional evidence
We know from past experiments that removing these pages is not a desired solution - users need the mental break in between sections, to know that they have completed a section and get an understanding of what is coming next
Solution
In the a design review, there were ideas and feedback on the page to help articulate progress or encouragement. We. created explorations on how to bring them together by adding visual design, content, and animation to convey progress, encouragement, and more context on the sections coming up next.
Rationale
By implementing more engaging section break pages, we can enhance the user’s experience by giving them a mental break helping them better understand the context of the upcoming builder steps, which will ultimately help prevent drop-off at any step.
